Care Clinic, Inc. Purchases Pinnacle Easy Care
Up to Fifteen New Clinics to Open in Walgreens Stores Over the Next 4 MonthsSOUTHFIELD, MI, November 14, 2006 -- Care Clinic, Inc, a division of Arcadia Resources, Inc. (Amex: KAD), has purchased Pinnacle Easy Care. Doctor Amir Bacchus and Doctor Sherif Abdou founded Pinnacle Easy Care in 2006 and entered into an agreement with Walgreens to operate and staff the in-store Health Corner Clinics in the Las Vegas area.
“By purchasing Pinnacle Easy Care, we have acquired an important relationship with Walgreens that will allow us to open up to 15 new clinics in the Las Vegas area over the next four months,” said Cardiologist and Care Clinic, Inc CEO, Dr. Alan Lotvin.
Health Corner Clinics will be staffed by a nurse practitioner and located inside Walgreens stores, adjacent to the pharmacy department. The Las Vegas Health Corner Clinics will provide a wide variety of services ranging from typical family illnesses to health and wellness screening tests, including:
- Treatment of common illnesses such as colds, flu, allergies, ear infections,
- strep throat and skin conditions
- Cholesterol, blood glucose and mononucleosis
- Health and wellness screenings such as blood pressure and blood sugar
- Vaccines such as hepatitis A/B, influenza, meningitis and MMR
- Referrals to health care specialists and/or services when necessary
