April and May Conferences

Arcadia Services Vice President Barbara Gay, along with several California affiliates, will be exhibiting at The National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers (GCM) Western Regional Chapter's 15th annual conference from April 7-10. The offices of Arcadia affiliates Jim Simpson of Oakland, (East Bay Area) Tim Araiza of Northern California and Charles Symes of the Bay area will staff the exhibit with Barbara at the conference in San Francisco.

The GCM is an association of professional practitioners whose purpose is the development, advancement, and promotion of humane and dignified social, psychological, and health care for the elderly and their families through counseling, treatment, and the delivery of concrete services by qualified, certified providers.

Symes' and Araiza's offices, along with Barbara Gay, also will be represented during the Professional Fiduciary Association of California's (PFAC) 10th annual conference on May 4-6, which also is in San Francisco.

The PFAC provides information to its membership on economic, social and political developments likely to affect the professional fiduciary. It provides continuing education, promotes minimum standards in the administration of conservatorships, guardianships, trusts, estates and durable powers of attorney.

Cathy Sparling, Arcadia Services Chief Operating Officer, said participation in conferences like these serve a dual purpose: to grow and strengthen the Arcadia brand, and to work side-by-side with affiliates serving the community and lending support in educating people and providing services for elderly citizens in need of home care.

Also on May 4-6, Joe Silva and Kurt Engelhardt overseeing business development and marketing efforts for Arcadia RX will be exhibiting at the Assisted Living Facilities Association (ALFA) National Conference and Expo in Atlanta, GA.

ALFA is the largest national association exclusively dedicated to professionally operated assisted living communities for seniors. ALFA's member-driven programs promote business and operational excellence through national conferences, research, publications and executive networks. ALFA works to influence public policy by advocating for informed choice, quality care and accessibility for all Americans seeking assistance with long-term care.
